Collette Dinnigan Resort 2010

After finding Resort 2010 suddenly yesterday I decided to look through some of the other collections today. This collection caught my eye with the colors and the dresses that look perfect for summer. I'm assuming Resort is like a summer line of clothing but I'm not sure. Everything in the collection sure looks like it is geared toward the summertime. I really enjoyed how she used a lot of different materials in this one collection, it really shows you don't have to wear only one lightweight fabric all summer but that matching and mixing pieces made of different materials can present a wonderful effect while still allowing you to feel summery.

    The short dresses are so fun and wearable.
    Resort collections always seem like a waste for me--they're designed to be the most wearable and seem to exist mostly for money.

    My favorites are the top right and middle left. The bottom left is also really nice, I like the day-to-night look :)
    and by the way resort is basically a summer collection for designers but not everyone does it and usually they are smaller than normal RTW collections

    Collette Dinnigan really is fabbo! I stumbled across a selection of her cocktail evening dresses in a shop once and they were really, really lovely! The detail was tremendous and I was seriously considering if I should buy one! They were works of art!
